Tying in with the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who this week, Sean and I discuss all things time travel on the latest edition of The George Sanders Show. We take an in-depth, scholarly look at one of cinema's greatest creations, director Steven Herek's Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, as well as the first feature film from Buster Keaton, Three Ages. We also pick our Cinemassential Time Travel Films and pontificate on the lives and times of The Doctor.

Episode 19 of The George Sanders Show Now Available!

On this Veterans' Day-themed episode of The George Sanders Show Sean and I make peace over King Vidor's The Big Parade from 1925 and Miklós Jancsó's 1967 film The Red and the White. We also fête the wonderful Hedy Lamarr and pick our Cinemassential World War I films. Sean also chastises me for not having seen a number of movies. I retaliate with more Melvins. So maybe we don't make peace.

To war!

Episode 18 of The George Sanders Show Now Available!

Come celebrate a few anniversaries with Sean and me this week on The George Sanders Show! 100 years ago this month saw the release of Victor Sjöström's Ingeborg Holm, while 60 years later came Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain. We also discuss the career of Burt Lancaster, who has nothing to do with either of these films (he celebrated a posthumous 100th birthday), as well as pick our Cinemassential Social Problem films. Tons of music from Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. It's a real happening, man!
