Sean and I celebrate Catherine Deneuve's 70th birthday this week on The George Sanders Show by discussing her career as a whole as well as diving into one of her most iconic roles in Luis Buñuel's 1967 film Belle de jour. We also talk about that film's quasi-sequel Belle toujours from director Manoel de Oliviera and select our Cinemassential film wherein a housewife becomes a prostitute, because those movies are a dime a dozen, especially in the canon of Jean-Luc Godard.
