Episode 26 of The George Sanders Show Now Available!
On the final 2013 episode of The George Sanders Show, Sean and I travel way back to the year Sean was born, 1933 (I could be wrong on that fact), to discuss two features, the Mae West vehicle I'm No Angel and Yasujiro Ozu's Dragnet Girl. We also count down our top five films from that year and give away awards for acting, screenwriting, and direction. Spoiler alert: the Marx brothers may get a mention or two.

Episode 24 of The George Sanders Show Now Available!
On this week's episode of The George Sanders Show, Sean and I pick a favorite discovery from 2013 for the other to watch. One of us picks the awesome Sammo Hung feature The Victim from 1980, while some jackass decides watching Neveldine and Taylor's Crank might be a good idea. We also rattle off of our top five old movies of 2013 and listen to some great new music from the year.

Episode 23 of The George Sanders Show Now Available!
On this week's episode of The George Sanders Show, Sean and I ride elevators up to the top floor in New York City for discussions of the Coen brothers' The Hudsucker Proxy and Frank Capra's Lady for a Day. Screwball comedies get the Cinemassential treatment and the Coens finally get some respect from the film community which ignores them so. Also, five minutes of baseball talk because we want to alienate our few loyal listeners.

This week on The George Sanders Show Sean and I enter the matrix and find out it's full of nerds, as we discuss Andrew Bujalski's recent film Computer Chess, as well as Satyajit Ray's The Chess Players. Terrence Malick celebrates his birthday with us (in spirit, because that's how he rolls) and we talk a little (smack) about impending awards season.
